Blue Peak Autofluorescence is clinically and financially beneficial to your practice.  I can get you in touch with many of your colleagues to explain how this non invasive procedure can help you financially and clinically.

Terry,

Please review the Advanced RPE Analysis with Cirrus HD-OCT company handout. Two things to point out.
1. On the back of their handout it reads "a non-significant risk study was conducted."
2. Additionally, in small print on the back of the same handout there is a mention of References. It reads, "Data on File at Carl Zeiss Meditec, Inc. (Dublin CA)
I have an opinion of what this information is inferring, but you can come to your own conclusions. For Blue Peak Autofluorescence, we provide a host of readily available references. I am going to email you a 6 page listing of our references. You will have it today.

OPTOS I am currently less familiar with but if you want to spend $70,000-$90,000 for an autofluorescence camera, have at it.

Greg

Greg,

OK, I leave myself open & you rag me. I'm a sensitive kinda guy.:p

Indeed that was an impressive batch of clinical studies you forwarded to me. Would you mind attaching @ least some of them to this discussion?

Thanks for your candid inputs.

Let's talk about posting some OCT case studies with standard OCT & BPA analysis & early diagnostic significance. Very easy to post images, videos, etc.

Blue Peak Autofluorescence, in a nut shell, is to view the RPE layer of the retina before further vision is lost from a disease. The hyper/hypo fluorescence contrast of the lipofuscin within the RPE layer provides a metabolic view of where the retina is going. As the eye becomes sick, lipofuscin accumulates in the RPE and with our Blue Peak laser we can image the RPE layer and fluoresce this accumulated lipofuscin.
